Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines what content is permitted in Slots on The Brain. By purchasing a Slot (Neural Units), you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Prohibited Content

The following content is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in Slots:

2.1 Hate Speech & Harassment

Content that promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality
Threats, intimidation, or targeted harassment of individuals or groups
Slurs, derogatory terms, or dehumanizing language

2.2 Sexual & NSFW Content

Pornography or sexually explicit material
Content sexualizing minors (ZERO TOLERANCE — immediate ban and legal action)
Nudity or suggestive content

2.3 Illegal Activities

Malware, viruses, or harmful code
Phishing attempts or scams
Instructions for illegal activities (drugs, weapons, hacking, etc.)
Copyright infringement or pirated content

2.4 Spam & Misleading Content

Unsolicited advertising or promotional content
False or misleading information
Impersonation of individuals or organizations
URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.) — use direct URLs only

2.5 Violence & Self-Harm

Graphic violence or gore
Content promoting self-harm or suicide
Threats of violence against individuals or groups

3. Consequences of Violations

VIOLATIONS WILL RESULT IN:

1. Immediate content removal — your slot will be purged from our database and vector store

2. NO REFUND — all payments are final, regardless of policy violations

3. Permanent ban — you will not be able to purchase additional slots

4. Legal action — for serious violations (CSAM, threats, illegal activities)

4. Content Moderation

All content is screened before being accepted. We use automated moderation (OpenAI Moderation API) and reserve the right to manually review content. If your content is rejected:

You will receive an error message explaining the violation
You may edit and resubmit your content
Repeated violations will result in a permanent ban

5. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates this policy, report it immediately:

Include the Slot number or a description of the violation. We investigate all reports within 24 hours.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of The Brain after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page periodically for updates.
